This is a written-up look back at one week of work on PersonaCart, 7 to 13 September 2026, put together on 12 October 2026 from our code history. It was a thinner week for new features than some others, so this post is shorter. Period covered: 7-13 September 2026.

In short

  • The lead feature was a settings sheet for every element on a page you imported with Beautify.
  • A phone and a desktop can now show the children of a container in a different order.
  • A buyer is warned before checkout when a product is for members only.

All of this is built and on our staging branch. The platform is pre-launch and our own accounts are the main users.

The lead feature: change any element on an imported page

PersonaCart can take a page you already own and turn it into a page you can edit. The weak spot was what happened afterwards. If you wanted to change the space around one button, or centre one paragraph, there was often no control for it.

So the rule for this week was: tap an element, and a sheet opens from the bottom of the screen with three tabs: Content, Layout and Style. It is a smaller version of the editor panel for our own sections. The aim was simple. Imported does not mean locked.

The sheet is built for the kinds of element you meet on a real page:

  • Text. Edit each run of text without losing bold, italic or links inside it. Set alignment, size, weight and colour, and the heading level for screen readers.
  • Image. A caption, a focal point, a locked aspect ratio, a border, and a choice between loading at once or lazily.
  • Link and button. Open in a new tab, a size choice, a "sponsored" marker for affiliate links, and an accessible label.
  • Form. The success message, the style of the submit button, field layout and a border.
  • Video. A poster picture, a maximum width, the style of the play button, and preload options.
  • Icon, social icons and divider. Circle background, rotation and flip, hover zoom, and open in new tab.
  • Lists of items. Duplicate an item, a mobile-only gap, item borders, hover lift and a staggered entrance.
  • Container and section. Layout mode, grid column count, vertical alignment, wrapping, content width, a full-width toggle and a list that jumps to named slots.

On top of that, a margin and padding control now works on any element of an imported section.

The other things that moved

Order on mobile. A container can show its children in a different order on a phone than on a desktop. For example, a booking button first on a 390 pixel screen, last on a wide one. The desktop order stays the single source of truth. Card grids can also set their own number of columns on mobile.

Members-only warning. If a product is for members only, the buyer is told on the product page before checkout, not after they have entered their details.

Billing screen. A creator's billing page now tells apart three states: trial, complimentary and paying.

Pie. The Pie FAQ page was redesigned with view and edit dialogs and cards grouped by product. A paused Pie can be turned on by asking in chat. When a paused store verifies a domain, Pie resumes on its own.

What it means for a coach or academy

Many coaches already have a website made by a friend or an agency. The question is always: can I move it without losing control? The element sheet is our answer to the "control" half. If you can change the text, the picture and the button spacing yourself, you do not need to message the person who built the old site.

Frequently asked questions

What is the element settings sheet?

It is a panel that opens from the bottom of the screen when you tap an element on an imported page. It has Content, Layout and Style tabs.

Can I change the order of elements on mobile?

Yes, for a container. It can list its children in a different order on mobile and tablet. The desktop order is kept as the main one.

Does the sheet work on pages built with PersonaCart sections?

This work was for elements inside imported (Beautify) sections. Our own sections have their own editor panel.
