This Cookie Policy explains how PersonaCart LLC ("PersonaCart", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on personacart.com and in the PersonaCart application (the "Platform"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits — and in this Policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

2. The Categories We Use

Our cookie banner lets you control three categories. Only the first is set without your consent.

2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required to operate the Platform and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent because the Platform cannot function without them. They are used to:

  • keep you signed in and maintain your session;
  • secure the Platform against fraud and abuse, and route traffic (including cookies set by our infrastructure and security provider, Cloudflare);
  • remember your language, region, currency, and interface preferences;
  • operate the shopping cart and checkout on Creator Stores; and
  • record your cookie choices, so we do not ask you again on every visit.

2.2 Analytics (off until you consent)

These help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it — which pages are visited, which features are used, where errors occur, and how sessions flow. We use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, and Plausible for this purpose. Microsoft Clarity may record session interactions such as clicks and scrolling.

2.3 Marketing (off until you consent)

These are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant advertising on other platforms, including the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. They may be set by our advertising partners and used to build a profile of your interests across sites.

3. Your Choices and How to Change Them

When you first visit, our banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential, or choose by category. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not restrict your access to the Platform.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the link in our website footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately for cookies set thereafter; cookies already stored can be cleared through your browser.

You can also control cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block or delete them. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Platform will not work. Where your browser or device sends a recognised opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information under applicable United States state privacy laws.

We re-ask for consent when this Policy changes materially or when our cookie set changes.

4. Cookies on Creator Stores

Creator Stores are operated by independent Creators, not by PersonaCart. A Creator may add their own analytics or advertising tags to their store, and where they do, that Creator is the controller of the resulting data and is responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires and for disclosing it in their own policies. Questions about cookies on a particular Creator Store should be directed to that Creator.

5. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — typically from a few days up to 24 months depending on the cookie and the provider — or until you delete them. Your recorded cookie preference is kept so we can honour it on future visits.

6. International Transfers

Some of the providers named above are located outside your country and may process data in the United States or elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law; the "Last Updated" date above will change.
